| ABOUT ME

Hello, I'm Yasmin.

Welcome to the next step in your journey. My practice is dedicated to creating a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where young people can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences at their own pace. I specialise in working with 11-18 and have extensive experience working in schools.

Sometimes it’s easier to speak to someone outside of your friends, family or school for support. If you need someone to listen to you without judgement, someone who will work with you to explore solutions and let you work at your own pace then I might be the counsellor for you.

What I Offer

I offer counselling online and telephone. This means you are in the comfort of your own home for counselling sessions. I do ask that you are in a private space where you can speak freely without interruption.

All children have a right to confidentiality so I do not offer checks in with parents/ guardians throughout the process. Unless a safeguarding concern is present, in which case parents /guardians will be made aware.

Please rest assured that your child is welcome to talk about their therapy with you, should they choose to. At times where a collaborative approach is considered appropriate, parents may be invited to attend part of the session, though this is at the discretion of your child.

Is counselling confidential?

Yes! The content on our sessions is kept confidential, unless there is a safeguarding concern. I will do my best to keep you informed before any information is shared.

Your child needs to want to come to counselling for them to benefit from it. Counselling offers your child a space to speak without judgement. If your child struggles to tell you how they feel but needs someone to support them then counselling might be right for them.

Do you offer online sessions?

All sessions are offered online or telephone. You can do them in the comfort of your own home!

The amount of sessions varies depending on client goals. I do recommend a minimum of 6 sessions but there is no maximum amount.
